We enjoyed a nice Easter Dinner with Steve, Tether, Dayton, Jeremy, and Sierra. After our meal we enjoyed watching Dayton and Sierra hunt eggs. Wish all of the grandkids and family could have been here with us.

Dayton
I made Dayton happy.. I made him 2 new pair of fleece pants. He wanted them for Christmas and the stores just don't carry much in his size. He really liked the football print.

So it was Sunday, We were bored, Went for a drive, WOW!, Walnut Point.

Check out the fishermen in the background. They are a lot braver than we are. The geese don't bother us, it's the lack of ice where the geese are that make us wonder "How thick is that ice?"

13 degrees out and Kate decides to try sledding on the backside of the dam. 2 trips down was enough. The crash landings were to cold.

Jackets
Marcy brought Kate a bunch of white jackets to embroidery on. For 3 days Kate put designs on jackets. Today we took them to the nursing home where Naomi Little is and handed out thirteen to the residents there. We said they were donated to us so we {Kate} decorated them and decided to pass them on.Hopefully we brightened a few ladies day.

Corn
Time to start picking a little corn...... And a little is all that got picked that day...... At this time we have all the beans out of the fields. And maybe a little over a third of the corn. Corn is going slow since it has to be dried down to store in bins...... Late planting and a cool wet summer didn't give mother nature a chance to finish her job...........Now if we could just get the rain to hold off for a few more weeks...........

Started In The Shed
Kates family, around 50 of them gathered today. We started in the shed because it looked like rain. Later we all went to the pond to enjoy everyones company. Kates cousin Judy was here from Florida for a visit.............. A a long awaited catching up with family who hadn]t seen each other in 40 years.
