Cedar & His Cedar Tree
almost 6 years ago I planted this Cedar tree in honor of my first Grandchild Cedar Ross Overcash. A couple of years ago when they were heading back to live in Montana Cedar and his tree were about the same height., It should be interesting to see the two Cedars together the next time they come home to visit.

Barn
The old barn is slowly disappearing. Some of it has been recycled into interior walls in the Cox's cabin. Looks great and has some of our grandfathers writing still on it.

Side Porch
The morning glory vines are beautiful this year, although they broke loose from there hooks on top. They were late bloomers but the cool weather has let the blooms stay on throughout the day.
Christmas in the Woods
Pat Young and I traveled to Columbiana ,Ohio to The "Christmas in the Woods" Festival this past weekend. There were 200 booths set up, no junk like you see at flea markets or most festivals around here. It was an enjoyable weekend, going to the festival and antique malls along our route. Dayton
Last Friday Dayton came to stay the day. Charleston schools were closed due to a small fire at the high school. One of my sunflowers had fallen over so we made a bouquet for him to take home to his mom, he is showing off one of the beauties that fell off.

Mother's 90th Birthday Celebration Continued
This was the 3rd family reunion held at the pond. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
Grammy Camp 2008
The 1st week of August . Kate's grandkids painted hopscotch blocks for the pond. Also used their artistic abilitys to paint flower pots and create their one of a kind Grammy Camp T- Shirts. Wish Cedar could have been with us to help make these memories. They enjoyed cooling off in the pond between activities.
