Dayton
Last Friday Dayton came to stay the day. Charleston schools were closed due to a small fire at the high school. One of my sunflowers had fallen over so we made a bouquet for him to take home to his mom, he is showing off one of the beauties that fell off.

Mother's 90th Birthday Celebration Continued
This was the 3rd family reunion held at the pond. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
Grammy Camp 2008
The 1st week of August . Kate's grandkids painted hopscotch blocks for the pond. Also used their artistic abilitys to paint flower pots and create their one of a kind Grammy Camp T- Shirts. Wish Cedar could have been with us to help make these memories. They enjoyed cooling off in the pond between activities.

We went to Sydney's first game tonight. She is playing for the Hornets. We got her on the Oakland team so she could play while she is with us this summer.

Sidney Catches
Grandaughter Sidney is staying with us for awhile this summer and decided she would like to play softball, We were lucky to get her on one of the Oakland teams the next day and she was there for the first practice. Her first game will be in Oakland Wed June 4th. She's a bit nervous, she'll get over that by the end of the season July 9th.

RJ & Baby
Yesterday the dogs found this Baby Deer in the woods. It didn't move very fast and was crying for it's mama. Dogs were really curious. Must have been a new born.

We were out cruising the fields and spotted this purple thing hanging in a tree over the road. We had already heard about the state putting these up. This is around the corner from our house.

Birthday Girl
Sierra turned 8 this past Thursday. We took her and her dad out for supper to celebrate . She chose Mexican because she loves the refried beans and the goat cheese dip.
