Corn
Time to start picking a little corn...... And a little is all that got picked that day...... At this time we have all the beans out of the fields. And maybe a little over a third of the corn. Corn is going slow since it has to be dried down to store in bins...... Late planting and a cool wet summer didn't give mother nature a chance to finish her job...........Now if we could just get the rain to hold off for a few more weeks...........

Started In The Shed
Kates family, around 50 of them gathered today. We started in the shed because it looked like rain. Later we all went to the pond to enjoy everyones company. Kates cousin Judy was here from Florida for a visit.............. A a long awaited catching up with family who hadn]t seen each other in 40 years.
