Christmas House 1
This is the start of my very first attempt at making a gingerbread house. Made from graham crackers so from here on it will be called a Christmas house. It took several days to complete and I was pleased with the way it turned out. I didn't have a pattern only my imagination to go on. John decided to record my progress.

Buddies
Striker didn't like this guy when they first met. He growled and barked at him. As you can tell they have buddied up pretty good together and want to wish all " A Vey Merry Christmas".

Party Goers
Sorry we didn't have more pictures to post of the party but most of them didn't turn out good because of poor lighting. Or bad photoghrapher.
Guess the Weight
People had fun guessing the weight of the pumpkins and Larry Richardson guessed the giant pumpkin right on the money...
Pumpkin & Benny
This pumpkin didn't weigh in but it might have been a winner. Whoever the pumpkin was it didn't want to be seen in public with this guy.
Bill & Hannah
Bill had to have his picture taken with this Sailor Girl while wife Pat looks on. Bill Baird snickering on the side lines.
Pumpkins
We didn't have a lot of pumpkins to weigh in. Hope next year if we all decide to do it again we will have more and bigger ones yet. But the party was a good time for all who attended.
Triplets
The giant pumpkin is on fork truck. 170 pounds!!!! The Long triplets are having fun with the pumpkins and cameras.

Hyacinth Vine
This is the second vine growing around the porch.Hyacinth Bean Vine. Pretty and sweet smelling.
Moonflower
If you have noticed that I planted vines around the porch this year and wondered what they could be..... Well here is a moonflower vine bloom. They come out kind of late in the day and are gone by 9:00 in the morning. Smell really good though.
Lizard
At the pond I spotted what I first thought to be a snake hanging out of a whole up in this tree. As I watched I realized that it was a lizard.

No this is not a new way to tarp your load. No this is not a portable garage. We just came up with a unique way of moving it.Thanks Art for the pavilion. It will be put back at the pond for a picnic shelter. And thanks Roger for all of your help in getting it safely home.

Log to Table
John sawed the log and made this picnic table in less than a day! Remember he's Johnny Half a day.
Name This Plant
The original tree died. This is growing from the roots? Or is it some sort of weed? I have not been able to identify it yet. The tree that died was a weeping mulberry. Most likely a grafted tree. HELP!!!
Train
This is a sight we don't see to often anymore. I had to wait on this train in Rardin after my Moonshine trip.
